This artistic work is a product of genuine human creativity.
My blood, sweat and open-source tears are here to be tasted by all, forever.
Machine learning had no part in any of what you've just experienced.
= a computer is awesome, but an artist it ain't =
Art is a kind of human communication that transcends space and time.
It's not the end product that matters, it's who, why and how made it.
if you insist on automating absolutely everything, automate the boring stuff!
And then maybe buy my album. I might make anotehr one if I can pay the bills. Also don't pollute (the web)!

Yes, I have typ(o)ed every single character that you just read.

Lyrics:

I've tried to escape from data loss
I've researched what I could do
I've deployed a checksummed filesystem so
I can see whenever things go wrong

But

I've got a bad sector
And my backup is down
I've trashed all my data
And I'm out of spares

I'm down to one copy
And the FS is bad
I need to recover
But I'm out of spares

I've got a bad sector
I've gotta bad sector

I have neglected my backup so
When the failure came I was unprepared
The trouble has hit me in my worst time
And I don't know if I can get my files back, oh!

I've got a bad sector
And my backup is down
I've trashed all my data
And I'm out of spares

I'm down to one copy
And the FS is bad
I need to recover
But I'm out of spares

I've got a bad sector
I've gotta bad sector

Check your backups, people!

To really spread the freedom, we need to be kind.

There's a nice chunk of wood close to where I live. And my community has given me ideas to make a "Luke Smith type" video.

I was pondering that idea, and one day before me and my wife went for a stroll - I came with an idea for a short skit.

I presented it to my wife, and she came up with a response to the initial question, which has provided a nice punchline for the whole thing. It also makes the final line feel much more earned and meaningful, providing a climax to this surreal forest adventure.

In case you are confused - this video is a joke.
I personally use Manajro on all of my machines daily, as I find it excellent. I've also managed to install Arch Linux on a tablet recently thanks to their new installation script. I am extremely grateful for all the hard work that developers and users put into bringing us all a truly liberating computing experience.

UPDATE: I have switched to Arch Linux on my main studio machine. Lol.

However... I think we as Linux users and free software enthusiasts sometimes get a bit arrogant in relation to people who use non-free operating systems. Sure, let's help them reclaim their freedom, but let's not be nasty about it!

With that being said - enjoy!

Also - I usually make video tutorials about audio production on Linux, but I figured - sometimes it'll be good to spice things up a bit. And who knows - maybe a lot of new people will discover their passion for music or sound design using free software thanks to this silly video?

Take care, and be kind!

Principal photography has taken place on 2020-02-25, but I've only managed to finish the video on 2020-03-29, due to many technical issues during the video editing process. You have no idea how glad I am to be finally done with this video. If there's any errors or sloppy editing in the video - please forgive me. Audio stutters near the end are Kdenlive's fault, and I was unable to make it not do that.

I'm talking about why crafting stunning tracks takes a lot of time, and how I usually go from the initial idea to the final album version of my compositions.

I use my track "Sincerely" from my album "Suppressed" to show how it changed and developed over 22 versions I have saved on my disk.
